How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?
During laser hair removal, a laser beam passes through the skin to target individual hair follicles. The laser inhibits future hair growth by damaging the hair follicles. The procedure does not harm the patient’s surrounding skin. Several sessions are recommended to permanently reduce hair because the follicles can only be affected while hair is in the growth stage. Since not all of your hair develops at the same time, sessions are scheduled a few weeks apart until all of the hair follicles have been treated.
